Biblical Studies Program
The Biblical Studies Program at the ELTE Faculty of Humanities offers a diverse range of courses related to biblical studies within the Institute of Ancient and Classical Studies, making them accessible to students across various disciplines. The primary goal of the program is to equip students with a comprehensive and critical understanding of biblical texts, examining their religious, cultural, and social significance from ancient times to the present.
The program provides undergraduate (BA) students with the opportunity to pursue a Minor in Biblical Studies and offers graduate (MA) students in Hebrew Studies a Specialization in Biblical Studies. Additionally, "The Faces of Scripture" Open Lecture Series welcomes a broader audience to explore diverse topics in biblical studies and gain valuable insights into the field.
